The purpose of this page is to provide financial funding opportunities through various websites for post-secondary education to current students at WSST. Our mission is to prepare and ensure all students are ready for college and career after high school graduation. We believe education beyond high school is essential for success in the modern 21st-century economy.

Scholarship Resources

College Depot: College Depot is a free, full-service college access center located at the Burton Barr Central Library in Phoenix, Arizona​. College Depot is a program of the Phoenix Public Library. Our team of college planning advisors and assistants offer one-on-one appointments and workshops regarding admissions, financial aid, and scholarships.

Fastweb: Fastweb is your connection to scholarships, colleges, financial aid and more.

Unigo: Unigo is the premier network for current and future college students to get to where they’re going. Unigo provides cutting-edge tools, compelling content, and essential information, empowering students to make the best decisions about their college experience.

Arizona Community Foundation: The Arizona Community Foundation allows high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona to apply for more than 100 scholarship awards online with one general application.

College Answer By Salliemae: College scholarships are financial aid for college that you can apply for through organizations, websites, scholarship tools, and more. Scholarships can be need-based, merit-based, or based on things like your hobbies, field of study, ethnicity, religion, and more. You don’t need to be number one in your class or an all-star athlete to get free money for college.

College Greenlight: We connect first generation and underrepresented students to caring colleges, generous scholarships, and life-changing counselors and mentors.

DoSomething.Org: Are you 13 – 25 years old, interested in volunteering, and looking for scholarship opportunities? Then you’re in the right spot.

DACA Resources / Scholarships

Golden Door Scholars: Status doesn’t determine opportunity. Tenacity and hard work do. With our scholarship, DACA students invest in their education and define their future.

Cesar Chavez Hispanic Scholarship Fund: The Cesar Chavez Foundation, in partnership with PepsiCo, invite students of Latino descent who are beginning or continuing their studies at higher educational institutions in Arizona and California’s Central Valley, to apply for the PepsiCo Cesar Chavez Latino Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund provides $300,000 in scholarship awards to qualified Latino students in Arizona and California regardless of national origin or immigration status in an effort to promote their academic success.

The Mexican American Legal Defense Fund: The MALDEF Scholarship Resource Guide is a free, informative resource guide for students, parents, and educators with an extensive list of scholarships, including many that do not inquire about immigration status.

The ISAC AMAYA FOUNDATION: Students in all sectors of society will have the means to achieve a higher education.

NitroCollege: Despite undocumented students inability to receive federal funding, there are still many options available to receive support. With private institutional funding and the state college’s independent decision to allocate scholarships, the American dream is possible beyond borders.
